BB10: Dearborn’s Dan Gheesling says ‘Big Brother’ changed his life

In a game where lying, cheating and stealing are not only celebrated but pretty much required for success, you’d think a Catholic school teacher would be out of his league.

Last summer, however, Dearborn’s Dan Gheesling proved the opposite when he emerged victorious on season 10 of the CBS reality series “Big Brother,” which returns for its 11th season on Thursday.

Gheesling, 25, not only won the show’s big prize — walking away with a cool $500,000 for his efforts — but he became one of the best to ever play the game in the process, earning the show’s first-ever unanimous victory for the championship.

Evel Dick and Janie show?

From Evel Dick himself:

“I have had so many people asking me what is up for me this BB season…
I figure I will tell everyone all at once and save myself the carpal tunnel….
So hold on to your panties, this will be a long, blabbering, ranting blog.

Ready?

I will be doing my weekly webcast for Real Player again this year.

RealPlayer Superpass has given me my own tab in their browser, which will closely link my website and my myspace etc… They have been great to work with and our relationship is solid.

I have some fun guests lined up and we will be out on locations more this season, we will also have more past houseguests….
The viewers were out in huge numbers for the show last year and I don’t see any reason why that would change.

But I will also be doing a weekly webcast with Janelle to fill the void left by the Cancellation of Housecalls.

It will be a call in show that will talk about the feeds and anything and everything else going on in the house and being talked about on the internet.

I will be in studio while Janelle will be in NYC, but will be as good as sitting next to me co-hosting the show (well, as good as for you people, but I am getting jipped.)”

Message from Eddie McGee

Big Brother season 1 winner, Eddie McGee, has posted a MySpace bulletin I thought I would share:

“Hi friends,

It’s been a real interesting year. As most of you know, I had a small role in Desperate Housewives this week, and my Law and Order episode is rerun a lot. I’m at the Newport Beach Film Festival this week where my film The Angel is screening. If you haven‘t had a chance to see it, it features me doing a lot of wire-work like in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and I’m extremely proud of it.

I’m currently looking for help with a new project. It’s an amazing feature length movie I’m trying to produce but have hit several barriers. The script is from Paul Hough who did the award-winning Angel – he is also directing this – and he has managed to get a guarantee in writing for coverage in Fangoria Magazine (its a super cool horror movie in which I would get to play the most unique killer ever seen!) I’m writing because I’m looking for help and looking for people who might want to get involved.

I am producing it along with Paul, but I am looking for others who might be able to contribute in some way. Most important right now is the fundraising. We have a budget of $77,000 and I’m looking for anyone who might want to get involved in the financing – essentially someone who would like to be a Producer – or someone who might have access to private financing. All ideas and suggestions are welcomed.
